KinderFilmWelt's film reviews are aimed directly at children. This enables children to independently find films that they like and that spark their interest. KinderFilmWelt keeps track of all films currently being released for children of different age groups. Young film fans can also browse for classics and older films that are worth watching. Feel free to accompany your children as they discover high-quality, age-appropriate films and enjoy watching films together as a family thanks to the wide range of offerings available at KinderFilmWelt. KinderFilmWelt is published by the German Children's and Youth Film Centre (KJF). On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, the Institute for Cultural Media Education works in the fields of media education, media culture, media work and media criticism for young people. The KJF and filmfriend are media partners! All kids' films in our range are labelled with the respective educational age recommendation from KinderFilmWelt – if this is not the case, the film has not (yet) been registered by KinderFilmWelt. For those with a professional interest, the KJF also runs the Children's and Youth Film Portal. This site offers a wide range of reviews, articles, reports and interviews on the subject of children's films. The age recommendations given here are also taken into account on filmfriend.
